VendScreen wirelessly delivers nutrition data and advertising to displays mounted on vending machines while collecting real-time, point-of-sale information for analytics tracking. We give users the ability to review nutrition information prior to purchase while providing operators a seamless and automatic system to comply with the new calorie disclosure law. We offer advertisers uncluttered access to a two-way connection with consumers in a manner previously not possible – at the vending machine at the very moment of the purchase decision!

About Dr. Paresh Patel
Founder & CEO
Dr. Paresh Patel is a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for applying breakthrough technologies to established business models. At age 17, he founded Courtesy Vending to help pay for college, then propelled the company to twenty times growth in just five years to become the largest independent vending operator in the Portland area. Anticipating the rapidly evolving technology needs of vending operators, Dr. Patel again applied his entrepreneurial instincts, business savvy and industry experience to launch VendScreen; a game-changing product which advances vending’s position in the retail channel.
Dr. Patel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University. He earned an MBA at the University of Washington and a Ph.D. at Capella University. Dr. Patel is also Chairman of the Board of the Pacific Northwest Federal Credit Union in Portland, Oregon and proudly endorses Made in Portland.
About Glenn Butler
Co-founder & CTO
Glenn Butler is a serial entrepreneur, having been involved in many startups from the “garage” stage to pre and post VC funding. Only two years out of college, he co-founded Streamware Corporation and sold it 10 years later to Crane Co (NYSE: CR). Today, Streamware remains the leading ERP system for vending operators and bottlers. In 2006, Glenn joined Cantaloupe system as President, helping its founders raise $5 million in VC money while establishing the company’s off-shore development team. In late 2007, Glenn returned to CraneCo as VP & CTO of the $400 million Crane Merchandising Systems, where he oversaw the commercialization of Crane’s telemetry platform in vending. In addition to focusing on VendScreen, Inc., Glenn owns and operates CTO Services, LLC , a technology and startup consulting business, and is a contributing editor to Automatic Merchandiser magazine.
